Accreditation
TeacherStep courses are offered in partnership with Converse University. Converse University has provided students with education rooted in the liberal arts since 1889 and is located in Spartanburg, SC. Converse University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award degrees at Level V (Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Fine Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Musical Arts, Master of Music, Master of Liberal Arts, Master of Arts in Teaching, Master of Education, Master in Marriage and Family Therapy, Master of Fine Arts, Masters in Management, Educational Specialist, and Doctor of Education). Converse University may also offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels. Upon successful completion of courses, students may request an official transcript from the Converse Registrar’s Office. Up to 6 graduate credit hours may be applied toward the MEd in Advanced Studies at Converse. Specific questions related to course credit may be directed to the Dean of the Graduate School at Converse.
